Ed Hein is the Senior Manager of Digital Product Excellence at LifeScan. This role oversees the Tier3 Customer support team, OT Care product maintenance development team and Verification & Validation group responsible for implementation of testing strategy for all Lifescan’s Digital products. These products include numerous Native mobile applications and websites with backend data repositories and API interfaces. His responsibilities include reporting metrics showing the effectiveness of test activities and coordinating both internal, contracted and outsourced test resources to align overall testing strategies. He has 33 years of experience in a variety of software testing and GxP validation roles including Global Quality Manager at Honeywell and Worldwide Validation Manager at GlaxoSmithKline Biopharmaceutical R&D. In addition to his BS from Penn State Ed also holds three ASQ certifications.
